Fast growing Internet Ecommerce agency is looking for our next Senior Technical Project Manager! Sunken Stone, Inc. is a performance based Ecommerce sales agency focused on the Amazon marketplace. We manufacture and market our own products as well as manage the Amazon sales and marketing for over 80 different partners. We have grown over 500% in the last 3 years and are looking to grow even more in 2020 and beyond. No day is like the last, and we're looking for the right team-members to come along for the ride.
What You'll Be Doing:
33% - Coach/Mentor/Babysitter. Our dev team is young, smart, and has a growth mindset. It's your job to get peak performance out of them and continue to have them level up.
33%- Super organized scrum/agile checklist maniac. You can easily flip back and forth between seeing the big picture and all the features that make up that project.
33%- Problem solving puzzle master. You get a nice dopamine hit figuring out a better way to code that feature or by working with a developer to troubleshoot a bug that's been slowing us down. On, over, through any obstacles using anything at our disposal.
The primary role of the Senior Technical Project Manager is providing leadership to our offshore software development team and ensuring that our projects maintain a seamless flow throughout the entirety of the development life cycle. You will be a hands on project manager who will be leading these projects as well as stepping in when needed to address technical issues or questions. Your proven experience as a technical project manager will help us develop project plans for our software projects as needed. Working mostly independently, you will be ensuring that project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing levels are set up appropriately and running smoothly in order to keep the project on schedule. Using logic and reasoning you will work with your team to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems in helping us with our software development.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience leading and managing a (preferably) offshore team to coordinate projects, tasks and deadlines.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate or equivalent desired.
-Project management experience ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and scope from the start of the project through its completion.
-Experience with both Frontend and backend software project management; bonus if your experience includes: Node.js, PosgreSQL/MySQL, and Azure.
-Excellent technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to generate innovative solutions.
-Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
-Outstanding verbal and written communication skills since you will be doing most of your work with offshore employees.
